Holon is an exercise in looking beyond the immediate and into the realms which lie beyond. The piece deals with improvised and contrived imagery that relies on the viewer's pedagogical conditioning to produce meaning. Participants are invited to peer into a microscope and, subsequently, into a churning palette of nebulous imagery.
By presenting biological / spiritual imagery, my intent is to incite contemplation of what lies beyond our limited scope of vision as humans.
